Natalie Byrne covers health and science, including Bellwater General Health System, the county health department, and biotech research coming out of Kincaid’s labs. A former lab technician turned reporter, she earned her journalism degree at Kincaid and has covered the region’s opioid recovery efforts since 2018. She was part of a Times team that won a statehouse press award for public health coverage.
